Front axle oil seal Kubota GL, L (BQ4504F)

Front axle oil seal , with inner diameter 46 mm (sleeve), 51 mm (seal), outer diameter 70 mm (seal), 51 mm (sleeve), flange diameter 78 mm and height 13/24 mm, intended for Kubota tractors of Kubota GL, Kubota L series.

The oil seal is a sealing ring (also called Simmer ring after the inventor), usually made of rubber or other plastics that meet the technical requirements. It is used to seal the rotating parts of a system with a maximum internal pressure of up to 0,1 MPa and is immersed, during operation, usually in a bath of lubricants, gasoline or water. Seals are most commonly used to seal shafts and transmission or drive systems of machinery and machines. Common types include cassette (two-part) seals, contour-spring sealing rings and part-metal housed seals.
Seals prevent oil or lubricant leaks and keep contaminants out of the system.
