The sealant is a rubber ring (also known as a boiling ring, boiling ring, after the name of the inventor), which is usually made of rubber or other plastic that meets the assumed technical requirements. Sealing is used to seal rotating elements of the system with a maximum internal pressure of 0.1 MPa that are submerged during operation, most often it is a funnel, various types of lubricants and sometimes gasoline or water. The most common use of sealants is to seal shafts and transmission or drive systems of machines and devices. There are different types of seals, the most common are cartridge (two-piece) seals, seals with a spring around them or seals with a partly metal casing (cap). Seals prevent oil or lubricant leakage and prevent contaminants from entering the system.
